From Targovishte to the Port of Varna and by sea to Nhava Sheva, India, GOPET TRANS organizes the sea transport of a bottle production machine, shipped as oversized cargo in a 40-foot flat rack container.
The Challenge
The operation required precise coordination between multiple key stakeholders in the international logistics chain – shipping line, crate manufacturer, customs agent, shipper, and consignee. All processes had to be synchronized within a single operational framework, where any delay or deviation could impact the entire transport cycle.
Our Approach
GOPET TRANS managed the operation as an integrated multimodal transport between road and sea. The machine was secured in a specially built wooden crate designed for stability under heavy and non-standard loads, and additionally fixed with anti-slip and securing elements. Lifting was carried out directly using slings at certified lifting points, without a load distribution frame, in accordance with the lashing specification. The container was further secured with anti-slip material during cargo positioning.
The Result
The operation was executed as a fully coordinated international transport cycle – from the loading point in Bulgaria to the final sea shipment to India – with complete synchronization between all stakeholders and full control over cargo integrity.
